|---|---|---|
| BTC price | $84,330 (Bitrue 84,330 · Binance 84,309 · MEXC 84,318 · HTX 84,330 · Upbit ₩114,492,000) | Under 0.04% between exchanges — no arbitrage gap |
| BTC 24h | -0.12% ($84,431 → $84,330) | Within 1% for the day — catching its breath |
| BTC 24h range | $84,276 ~ $85,030 (hourly closes) | Range 0.9% — narrow = a quiet day |
| ETH price | $2,681 (24h -0.49%) | moving in step with bitcoin |
| Market breadth | 108 up · 99 down (of 207) | Gainers and losers are balanced = mixed |
| Above the long-term trendline (EMA200) | 116 coins (68%) | most sit above the trendline = the long-term trend leans up |
| Kimchi premium (USDT basis) | +0.07% (24h range -0.23% to +0.44%) | Korean and overseas prices are nearly the same |
| Kimchi premium (BTC basis) | +0.05% (Upbit ₩114,492,000 ÷ FX 1,357.05 = $84,368 vs $84,330) | the same bitcoin, priced at home vs overseas |

| Measured $100 fill (Binance BTC/USDT) | $84,330 · 0% slippage ($100,000 also 0%) | fills at the quoted price — plenty of liquidity |
A funding rate at the 0.01% baseline means longs are not crowding the futures market. And a premium near zero means both sides run at a similar temperature. Gainers and losers were balanced, so it came down to the individual coin.
Biggest gainers and losers (24h)
We count only coins with at least $10M turnover listed on three or more exchanges (this keeps single-venue pumps and scam tokens out). Prices come from the largest venue by turnover; turnover from the largest spot venue.

- NOM $0.002324 (+12.22%) — spot turnover $7.5M, 10.3x a week ago
If turnover jumps while the price does not, someone large may be accumulating or exiting — check the order book on the coin page.
Kimchi premium right now
The kimchi premium (the price gap between Korean and overseas exchanges) is +0.07% — 24h average +0.15%, range -0.23% to +0.44%. Korean and overseas prices are nearly the same.
Coins with the widest gaps in our latest scan (one row per coin):
- IN premium — Bitget $0.0400 · Upbit $0.0409 — 2.31% apart
- GRT premium — Poloniex $0.0342 · Upbit $0.0348 — 1.84% apart
- AVAX premium — Poloniex $10.76 · Upbit $10.95 — 1.75% apart
Read these gaps after fees, transfer time and FX. They are not an arbitrage call — they are a thermometer for which side of the market runs hotter.
Funding-rate skew (which way futures lean)
The funding rate is a fee that passes periodically between longs and shorts in perpetual futures. Positive means longs pay shorts; the further it drifts from the 0.01% baseline, the more crowded one side is.
- BTC 0.0025% per 8h (about 0.01% a day) — At the baseline = longs are not crowded
- ETH 0.0047% per 8h (about 0.01% a day) — At the baseline = longs are not crowded
- LSK a lot of money is betting it rises — holding leverage costs about 9.45% a day (Bybit)
- SAGA a lot of money is betting it falls — holding leverage costs about 6.86% a day (Bybit)
A holding cost this wide is not an income opportunity — it is a signal that one side is badly crowded. On such coins, price swings dwarf the fee.
Yesterday's main stories
1. Bitget Increases Security Breach Damage Estimate to $387.5 Million
On September 27, the cryptocurrency exchange Bitget announced that it revised its security breach damage estimate from $351.6 million to $387.5 million (approximately 510 billion KRW). This adjustment occurred after discovering additional assets on the Zcash and TRON networks that were missed in the initial count, rather than from a new attack. Blockchain analysis firms Elliptic and TRM Labs suggested North Korean involvement, noting that the laundering wallets overlapped with those previously used by North Korean hacking groups like TraderTraitor. Bitget has fixed the vulnerability, launched a recovery bounty program, and announced it would resume withdrawals sequentially starting at 8:00 AM KST on September 28.
Despite the negative news of the large-scale hack, Bitcoin demonstrated strong resilience by maintaining the $84,000 level.
2. Crypto Market Rally Slows Down Due to Rising US Treasury Yields
According to reports on September 27, Bitcoin surged to an eight-month high of $86,617 early last week. However, the upward momentum slowed later in the week as US Treasury yields rose and concerns over further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve resurfaced.
Bitcoin pulled back to the $84,000 level, and Ethereum also experienced a correction to the $2,680 range after touching $2,770, showing the market's sensitivity to macroeconomic indicators and interest rate outlooks.
